For advocates · reps · caseworkers · managers

You already tell people to write things down.

Everything we publish is free to hand out, with your name on it if you want it there. The tools are a separate thing, and which one fits depends on who you’re sitting across from.

Which one fits your people

rippedoffworker

If you work with workers

Union reps · worker centers · employment attorneys · community legal services

  • The person enters what they worked and what they were paid, period by period, and the arithmetic stays attached to the dates.
  • How they're paid decides what it asks them — hourly, salaried, gig and commission are four different sets of questions.
  • They arrive with the figures already reconciled, instead of a year of half-remembered weeks.

If you work with people in a dispute

Tenant advocates · legal aid · property managers · HR consultants · insurance and claims

  • One record per dispute: photos, letters, calls and notes, each dated as it goes in.
  • It works the same whether they are making the claim or answering one — both sides have to document.
  • What you get handed is in order, so the first meeting is about the problem rather than the pile.

What you’re not taking on

  1. 01

    We can't read their entries

Not you, and not us. What they write is theirs.

  2. 02

    You hold no records

Nothing lands with you, so there is nothing of theirs for you to keep, store or lose.

  3. 03

You're not in the chain of custody

You pointed at a tool. You never handled the material.

  4. 04

    No money moves either way

So there is nothing for you to disclose to anyone.

  5. 05

We make no claim about admissibility

Complete, dated, unaltered — and we stop there. What any of it is worth is not ours to say.

What you can hand out today

Two of these are live now. The other two are marked as coming, rather than linked to a page that isn’t there.

  • The checklists

Every page we publish ends in the list of what to have written down. Free to print, free to read, no account.

    See them→
  • Plain English

The words in the letters, explained — quiet enjoyment, wear and tear, exempt, misclassification, validation, liens.

    See them→
  • A link and a QR code

A printable card with the link and a scannable code, for a waiting room or the end of a first meeting.

    Coming
  • Your name on it

The same hand-out with “recommended by” and your name or your service on it.

The money

What it costs you
Nothing. There is nothing to sign, nothing to buy, and no account to hold.
What it costs them
Keeping the record is free. The finished file is paid for once per case, and nothing renews. Prices are on each tool's own page.
What we won't do
Pay you for a referral. Not a fee, not a share of anything, and not a kickback dressed up as something else.
